About Pastor Darren:

Pastor Darren is originally from North Carolina. As a young boy he grew up across the Southwest at a variety of Air Force bases.  This instilled a love for the West. His family eventually re-established their roots in NC. As a young man Darren joined the NC National Guard. He attended Campbell University where he earned a degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies and also met his bride, Susan. For 10 years, Darren served at Clayton High School as teacher, coach, and mentor while serving in the local church in a variety of ministry capacities. In 2006, he graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Church Planting. It was then he felt called to move across the US to pursue church planting in Montana where he and his family began Big Sky Fellowship.

Pastor Darren and his family love the outdoors.  They enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and camping like most Montanans.  They also love exploring the National Parks.  Susan and Darren have 3 children and two grandchildren.

ā€œIā€™m grateful to serve in a supportive role on our Elder Team. I love seeing the church thrive. I enjoy one-on-one discipleship, equipping disciple makers, teaching in the Preschool, and all duties additionally assigned.ā€
